The Battle of the Bands"比赛的名声后,他们就录了一些DEMO带并开始走访唱片公司,他们在A&M公司签下了他们的第一张合约,以及第一张唱片:Offering,这张唱片之后被更名为"Ticket To Ride",并登上Top100。

他是幕后合音,也是位钢琴家,他更写出了不少动听的歌曲,例如Yesterday Once More和 Top Of The World。

We've only just begun、For all we know、Rainy days and Mondays等等。

Super Star、Rainy days and Mondays、We've only just begun、Sing、 Top of the world、Only yesterday和Yesterday Once More。

1991年出版了精选集 "From The Top",他也出面担任电视连续剧"The Karen Carpenters Story"(CBS电视台,1989年)。

Are we really happy with this lonely game we play,
Looking for the right words to say?
Searching but not finding -- understanding anyway,
We're lost in this masquerade.

Both afraid to say we're just too far away
From being close together from the start.
We try to talk it over, but the words got in the way
We're lost inside this lonely game we play.

Thoughts of leaving disappear each time I see your eyes,
And no matter how hard I try
To understand the reason why we carry on this way
We're lost in this masquerade.

We try to talk it over, but the words got in the way
We're lost inside this lonely game we play.

We're lost in a masquerade.
And we're lost in a masquerade.</CN>
